Terms of access
- To get into Fortress Pailaka, your fortress needs to be independent from any castle. All party members need to take the Light within the Darkness quest (85+) (reward:
Knight's Epaulette — 200 pcs., PK counter -1). - To get into Castle Pailaka, one of the fortresses needs to swear allegiance to your castle. All party members need to take the Hope within the Darkness quest (90+) (reward: Knight's Epaulette — 300 pcs., PK counter -1).
- Access to the Pailaka is available every 24 hours, the counter works for the whole clan, it doesn't matter whether anyone has been to the Pailaka.
Walkthrough guidance
When your party gets inside the instance, you meet 4 NPCs you need to protect. All your buffs are cancelled and your party has 2 minutes to cast buffs. You won't miss the mobs appearance as there'll be messages on your screen. You need to defeat 3 waves of mobs. Waves 1 and 2 are by 10 mobs each + 1 Raid Boss; waves 3 is about 10 mobs and 2 Raid Bosses.
The mobs appear to attack the NPCs, so you need a tank in your party to distract them. The damage dealers are to kill all mobs before they kill the NPCs. You can heal the NPCs, so your healer needs to pay attantion to their HP level. The NPCs will help you in killing the mobs, so you can also buff them according to their classes. The NPCs will also buff your party.

You have 8 minutes for each stage (wave). It means that in 8 minutes after stage 1 the mobs from stage two will attack you. It's very important to kill all the mobs before the next wave as you risk to face too many mobs to cope with.
There there are any characters in your party whose level is 9+ higher than the level of the mobs, all their buffs will be removed several second after their cast.
