A fortress annexed by Guillotine, driven to violent maddess with Shilen's blood seeping into the Execution Grounds. Hallucinating with bloodthirsty visions, Guillotine seeks to complete the Great Sacrifice for Shilen by slaughtering humans and monsters indiscriminately.

The hunting zone, popular among players lvl 20-30 in the past, has been changed in Tauti update and now it’s called Guillotine Fortress. Now this hunting zone is intended for players lvl 95 and higher.

How to get inside Guillotine Fortress

Previously known as the Execution Grounds, the Guillotine Fortress has evolved into an outdoor party hunting area for characters level 95 to 97. The rain of Shilen’s blood on the land caused much damage in the nearby Town of Dion. Despite its location, it’s impossible to teleport to Guillotine Fortress from Dion. The only way is to use Sayune (teleportation system for the Awakened characters) from Dion and Giran (Sayune is located close to Einhasad Temple). Please note, however, that Sayune endpoints from Dion and Giran are different, there are 3 destination points in total located close to Guillotine Fortress. Besides, for some quests you can obtain a Item 35292.jpg Scroll of Escape: Guillotine Fortress and use it when you want to teleport to Guillotine Fortress.

Chaos Shield

Most of mobs which appear in Guillotine Fortress have Chaos Shield buff. Chaos Shield means that P. Def. and M. Def. are increased, so such mobs are very difficult to kill. However, when a mob receives a certain amount of damage, Chaos Shield buff disappears. When Chaos Shield is gone, P. Def. and M. Def. become significantly lower so it’s easy to kill the mob.

Proof of Survival

During hunting in Guillotine Fortress there’s a chance to get a Item 34898.jpg Proof of Survival . Proof of Survival remains in inventory for 10 minutes. During that time there’s a chance of Scaldisect the Furious’s attack. Please note that the more Proofs of Survival you have, the greater the chance.

Sayune

There are Sayune teleportation points in Guillotine Fortress as well. For example, the Raid Boss which appears only when it’s night in the game (from 0:00 till 6:00 game time) is located in the place which is accessible only via Sayune teleportation. Please note that mobs in Guillotine Fortress are different during the day and the night.

Mobs

Most of mobs in Guillotine Fortress are demons and the undead. There are also mobs which appear only when it’s night in the game. To be more specific, Krutati, Alluring Irene and Pafuron appear from 0:00 till 6:00 game time.
