Item Augmentation

General Info

• Augmentation is upgrading weapon, accessories, brooches, head accessories, circlets with special Spirit Stones.
• The effects received during augmentation are random. They depend on the spirit stone used.
• Augmented items cannot be sold or transferred, they cannot be lost if your character dies, they cannot be dropped, however you can store them in your warehouse. If augmentation is cancelled, the item can be transferred again.
• You need special Spirit Stones for augmentation.
  • To augment an item (weapon, accessories, brooches, head accessories, circlets), special stones are required for each item type. Some stones also have additional limits by character level it can only be used for special items.
• To make augmentation, you need to talk to NPC Blacksmith in any township.
  • Augmentation requires a certain fee in gemstones of the corresponding grade. For more info, please see: Augmentation fee.
• To change augmentation, first of all you need to remove the current one. For more info, please see: Cancelling Augmentation.
  • A blacksmith in any township can cancel augmentation.
• You’ll also need to pay a certain amount of adena for cancelling.
  • The spirit stone used for augmentation will not be returned upon cancelling.
• Enchanted items, items with special abilities or empowered with an attribute can be augmented, all such upgrades will remain unchanged.
• Augmentation is always successful. No item can be broken (or lost) upon it.

Augmentation process

• Talk to NPC Blacksmith in any township and choose to augment an item. Besides augmentation, NPC Blacksmith can also cancel it or sell spirit stones for Soul Crystal .
  • Drag the item you need to augment from your inventory.
  • Drag the necessary Spirit Stone from your inventory. As soon as you have done so, you’ll see the info about the gemstones required.
  • Drag the necessary Gemstones from your inventory. You don’t need to drag the exact amount of Gemstones, as the required amount will be used anyway. The amount and the grade of the Gemstones depend on the grade of the item you need to augment.
• Items required for augmentation: the corresponding spirit stone and the item to augment need to be located in your character's inventory.

Limits and specifics

• You can augment common items, masterwork items, bound and blessed Items Grade С and higher.
• After augmentation the item will get the “Augmented” prefix. For example, "Antharas Stormer” will be called "Augmented Antharas Stormer". If the augmentation is removed, the prefix is removed as well.
• Augmented items cannot be exchanged, sold, lost upon death, dropped, transferred via mail or stored in a Clan warehouse. An augmented item can be stored in your character’s private warehouse.
• If a weapon is enchanted with a Mid-Grade Spirit stone, the weapon may glow a bit.

Weapon Augmentation

Only weapon Grade C and above can be augmented.

• The effects received when a weapon is augmented are random. They depend on the spirit stone used.
• Your chance to augment a weapon is always 100%.
• When augmenting a weapon, you get 2 bonuses (first + second).
• The augmentation text colour depends on the rarity of the second bonus (blue, yellow, purple, red).
• Augmented weapon cannot be exchanged or dropped.
• You need special spirit stones for weapon augmentation.
  • Dragon Spirit Stone can only be used to augment Dragon Weapons.

Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting weapons. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
Mid-grade Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting weapons. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
High-grade Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting weapons. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
Top-grade Spirit Stone	Ordinary mineral that has been petrified by a creature's physical or magical damage and dimensional anomalies. Key component used in weapon Augmentation, and the higher the level of the Spirit Stone, the higher the augmentation option.
Superior Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting R110-grade weapons. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
Dragon Spirit Stone	A mineral that has been petrified by dragon's physical or magical damage and dimensional anomalies. Key material for Dragon Weapon augmentation.

Augmentation cost

• Giant's Energy Spirit Stone can be used to augment weapon grade R and above. Regardless the grade, the price of augmentation is R-grade Gemstone  — 118 pcs..

Augmentation removal fee

• A blacksmith in any township can cancel augmentation.
• You’ll need to pay for cancelling augmentation, the price depends on the grade of your weapon and on its type.
• The price of cancelling, if Giant's Energy Spirit Stone was used, is 6,485,800 adena.

Accessory Augmentation

• You need special spirit stones for accessory augmentation.

Accessory Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting accessories. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
Intermediate Accessory Spirit Stone	A rare mineral solidified by shock from physical and magical strikes and dimensional abnormalities. Required for augmenting accessories. The higher the Spirit Stone's level, the higher the augmentation value.
Advanced Accessory Spirit Stone	Ordinary mineral that has been petrified by a creature's physical or magical damage and dimensional anomalies. Key component used in weapon Augmentation, and the higher the level of the Spirit Stone, the higher the augmentation option.
Top-grade Accessory Spirit Stone	Ordinary mineral that has been petrified by a creature's physical or magical damage and dimensional anomalies. Key component used in weapon Augmentation, and the higher the level of the Spirit Stone, the higher the augmentation option.

Head Accessory Augmentation

• To augment a head accessory, you need Hair Accessory Spirit Stone , which can be purchased from NPC Merlot (Hunters Village) for Dimensional Coin .
• The price of such augmentation is A-grade Gemstone  — 30 pcs.
• The price of cancellation: 6,985,600 adena. If you cancel augmentation, you won't get the Spirit Stone back.
• Augmented head accessories cannot be exchanged or dropped.

Circlets of Power Augmentation

• Radiant ( Radiant Knight's Circlet , Radiant Warrior's Circlet , Radiant Wizard's Circlet ) and Noble ( Noble Knight's Circlet , Noble Warrior's Circlet , Noble Wizard's Circlet ) circlets of power can be enchanted with a special stone: Circlet Spirit Stone .
  • Circlets: Warrior's Circlet , Wizard's Circlet , Knight's Circlet cannot be augmented.
• Augmentation fee: R-grade Gemstone  — 1 pcs.
• Augmentation removal fee: 698,560 adena. If you cancel augmentation, you won't get the Spirit Stone back.
• Augmented circlets cannot be exchanged or dropped.

Brooch Augmentation

• Only La Vie En Rose's Brooch Lv. 4 and La Vie En Rose's Brooch Lv. 5 can be augmented with special spirit stones. Brooch Spirit Stone , Brooch Spirit Stone .
• Augmentation effects for brooches are random.
• Your chance to augment a brooch is always 100%.
• When augmenting a brooch, you get 2 bonuses (first + second).
• The price of such augmentation is R-grade Gemstone  — 10 pcs.
• The price of cancellation: 130,000 adena. If you cancel augmentation, you won't get the Spirit Stone back.
• Augmented brooches cannot be exchanged or dropped.
