What is Lineage 2

Lineage II offers tons of PvP-content for hardcore players. In Europe, the game is distributed according to the f2p (Free-to-play) - model.
How to start playing
- Go to https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/ to 4game website.
- Click "Sign in or Register".
- Enter the login and the password from you 4game account and click "Sign In". If you don't have an account yet, there's an option to register.
- Choose Lineage 2 in the list.
- Press the "Install" button and follow the instructions.
- When the game is installed, you'll see the "Play" button on the website.
Creating a character
When you login to the game, you'll be prompted to choose a server. The servers are absolutely the same. It's recommended to choose the one which status is 'Light'. Click "Accept".
Once you've chosen the server, click the "Create" button. You can create up to 7 characters on one server.
Enter your character's name
You can only use Latin characters. Max 16 characters. You can't use Space or any other special characters.
If the name you've chosen is already in use, the system will warn you about that when you press the Create button: 
Choose a race
There are seven races in the game: Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf, Kamael and Ertheia. The starting characteristics and the available classes depend on the race. Each race also has its basic characteristics.

Choose a class
The available classes depend on the race. There are Fighter and Mystic classes.
Choose a gender
For five races (Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf) such characteristic as gender doesn't have any impact on anything - it's just about your character's looks. For Kamael the available classes do depend on the gender of your character. For Ertheia, only female characters are possible.
Choose a hairstyle
Choose a hairstyle, there are up to 7 options available depending on your character's race and gender.
Choose a hair colour
Choose a hair colour. There are up to 4 options available depending on your character's race and gender.
Choose a face type
Choose a Face Type of your character. There are up to 3 options available depending on your character's race and gender.
When all the parameters are set, press the "Create" button.
Warning! If you don't like the face type or the hairstyle of your character, you can change them using special herbs sold by the Priest of Mammon for Adena.
In Lindvior and later updates you can change thelooks of your character for Adena and/or Beauty Shop Ticket in the Beauty Shop.
