If you try to craft items of grade B or higher, there is little chance to craft a rare item. Crafted items do not equip immediately, they require special handling.
Starting from Gracia Final update rare armor always belongs to armor sets, except rare Chest or Fullbody.

How to obtain a Rare Item?
- If you try to craft items of grade B or higher, there is little chance to craft a rare item.
- It's impossible to make rare upper armor or a whole armor.
- The Foundation prefix is added to an item name.
- Crafted items do not equip immediately, they require special handling.
How to remove a debuff
A rare item can not be equipped or crystallized. To remove the seal of chaos from an item you need 
Mammon's Varnish Enhancer . Blacksmith of Mammon can remove a seal.

Unsealing Procedure:
- Buy Mammon's Varnish Enhancer from Merchant of Mammon.
- Remove Seal of Chaos from an item at Blacksmith of Mammon's.
- Unseal an item (for weapon and accessories) at Blacksmith of Mammon's or Maestro Ishuma's.

Exchanging to common items
You can exchange rare items for common at Maestro Ishuma's in Wharf of Gludio Airships.
- The weapon after exchange will keep its special ability, attribute, enchantment level.
- You cannot exchange weapon with PvP bonus.
