To learn certain skills, your character needs Forgotten Scrolls. There are skills to be learned by double-clicking a book, without any NPC. The article centers around the ways of getting Forgotten Scrolls.

Since the Goddess of Destruction - Harmony update you don't need Forgotten Scrolls to learns skills. The skills can be learned both for Forgotten Scrolls and for SP points in your character's skills window. When you use a Forgotten Scroll to learn a skill, you don't spend any SP. |
Legendary Blacksmith Shadai
Before the Epeisodion update, players could exchange 
Ancient Tome of the Demon (obtained on the Hellbound into Forgotten Scrolls through Legendary Blacksmith Shadai. The Blacksmith is located in Heine.

At the entrance to Stakato Nest you can take the quest: Only What Remains. Talk to Bounty Hunter Kintaijin. In the course of the quest, you may get
