You can obtain baby pets by completing special quests or by buying a Pet Exchange Ticket in a Clan Hall. There are three types of Baby Pets - Kookaburra, Buffalo and Cougar. Baby pets eat special food which can be purchased from Pet Managers. They consume 5% of master’s XP. They use Heal and Greater Heal skills. On lvl 55 Baby Pets can evolve into Improved Babies.

Improved Baby Pets
Improved Baby Pets are a step in this type’s evolution which gives them new skills and makes them stronger and tougher. If a Baby Pet has achieved lvl 55 it can evolve into a Improved Baby Pet with Pet Manager’s help.
The main different between Baby Pets and Improved Baby Pets is that Improved Baby Pets can help their master by casting different auras. Besides, they keep the ability to heal wounds, which make them great helpers for hunting mobs.
Each Improved Baby Pet has a unique set of auras. So, Improved Baby Buffalo will make a great companion to a warrior, while Improved Baby Kookaburra is just perfect for magic classes support. Improved Baby Cougar will suit those who prefer mixed auras which strengthen both physical and magiс characteristics of their character. Each aura lasts for 2 minutes and then dissolves. Your pet will keep on casting auras on you until you’ve unsummoned it.
The higher is the level of your Improved Baby Pet, the more auras it can cast on your character. On low levels it has 2 spells only, but the more levels it achieves, the more spells it acquires. Most experienced Improved Baby Pet can cast up to 8 auras on their master at the same time.
This pet type eats 
Improved Baby Pet Food and can be equipped with weapon and armor which significantly improves its combat characteristics. Like other pets, having evolved once, Baby Pets can go back to their initial state. Place the food into your pet’s inventory, and your pet will consume it automatically when its fullness level is 55% or below.
Pets cast buffs both in combat and non-combat states once such buffs expire. Pets do not cast buffs if your character has any buffs which level is lower than your pet’s buffs.
