Dualclass

General info

• Dualclass is available to all characters.
• A character can have 1 main and 1 dual class.
• Dualclass can be developed up to max level, just like the main one.
• Dualclass gives a character additional skills which are effective for main and dual classes.

Obtaining a Dualclass

• If dualclass hasn’t been added yet, you can see an empty slot with a lock in the character status window (Alt + T).
  • Having added dualclass, you’ll see the class icon with a blue background.
  • The main class icon is always displayed on the red background, and the duaclass one - on the blue.

• In order to add dualclass, you need to complete the following quest:

• Having completed the quest, talk to Dual Class Master Joachim and add the dualclass you want, however please bear in mind the following:
  • It’s impossible to choose a dualclass the class that matches the main one at the Awakening (3rd Liberation).
  • You cannot chose as dualclass such classes as Eviscerator, |, Tyrr Maestro, Iss Dominator]].
• Upon addition, a dualclass is immediately awakened, gets level 85 and the items corresponding to the class: A chest with a cloak, Chaos Pomander (Dual Class)  — 2 pcs. and Paulina's R-grade Equipment Set , and 1,000,000 as well.
• When you switch to dualclass, the basic stats of the main class remain the same.

Dualclass skills certification

• Once dualclass has been added, special skills can be learned.
• To learn them, you’ll need special items: Certificate - Dual Class , which can be obtained from special NPCs: Trandon in Talking Island Village or Gallias in the Town of Aden upon reaching levels 85 / 90 / 95 / 99 / 101 / 103 / 105 with the main and dual classes.
  • In total, 7 certificates are given - by 1 for each level mentioned above.
  • To get it, talk to either of the NPCs and choose to get Dual Class Certification. You can only get the items with your Dualclass.
  • Having obtained Certificate - Dual Class , talk to either of the NPCs and choose To learn or to forget Dualclass skills. You can only learn skills with your main class.
• Certified skills can be deleted - to do so, you’ll need to pay: 20,000,000 adena, the remaining certificates will also be removed.
  • After the payment all certified skills will be deleted. The remaining certificates (if any) will be removed as well.
  • You can get certificates for reaching the levels listed above to gain new skills/

Additional Dualclass skills

Besides the skills to be certified, there's an additional dualclass skill.

• Each level of the skill is learned on the corresponding levels of your character: 85 / 90 / 95 / 99 / 101 / 103 / 105.
• To learn it, no certificates are required, the skill can be learned in skills menu (Alt + K), ‘Learn Skill’ tab. A certain amount of SP is required.

Items related to Dualclass

• There are special items available for the Main and Dual classes after getting a certain level of Dualclass and main class. Such items can be purchased without any limitations from Dual Class Master Raina in Talking Island Village.
  • Such items as Rising Belt and Rising Shirt can be purchased at level 87, and Blaze Shirt and Blaze Belt - at level 92.

Switching between man and dual class

• You can switch between your dualclass and main class via your character’s interface.
  • To switch, right-click the icon of the class which is inactive at the moment, and then confirm your choice in the pop-up window.
• After switching all the buffs (including vitality) cast upon your character disappear.
• When you’ve switched to dualclass, the following happens:
  • Switching to dualclass tattoo set: main class doesn't lose its tattoos. However, you’ll need separate ones for dualclass.
  • Switching to dualclass vitality bonus: they are separate for main and dual class.
  • What remains after switching: PvP/PK counter, clan, recommendations, friends list, party room info and quests. The inventory and the warehouse are the same for main and dual class.
• After switching, you character gets the Identity Crisis effect. For 15 sec., you're going through an Identity Crisis. Battle abilities are decreased and skills and items cannot be used. However, consumables items can still be used. Also, you cannot switch between main and dual classes while under the effect of Identity Crisis.
• You cannot switch between dual and main classes if your character doesn’t have enough space in the inventory or weight limit is exceeded (no more than 95 slots should be occupied in the inventory in order to switch to dual class).

Second Awakening of Dualclass

• Dualclass with complete Awakening can Awaken again and change the class via Dual Class Master Raina in Talking Island Village.
  • To change dualclass your character needs to have a class cloak of dualclass in the inventory.
  • You’ll also need to pay a certain amount of adena for changing dualclass.
  • It’s impossible to choose the class which matches the main or dualclass your character has at the moment at the second Awakening.
• At the second Awakening, the dualclass level will be changed to 85, all the skills learned will be deleted, including certified ones, the character will get the certificates spent on the skills back into their inventory.
• Depending on the dualclass level, you may need to pay the following amount of adena:
