World Olympiad

World Olympiad is an interserver PvP tournament for characters for the title of Hero or Legend.

General Info

• World Olympiad is the place where you can fight for the title of Hero or Legend which will be active during the following calendar month after the end of the Olympiad.
• To take part in the Olympiad your character needs to meet certain requirements. For more info, see The process of World Olympiad.
• The World Olympiad takes place on Friday and Wednesday from 8 p.m. till 12 p.m. (4 hours) server time (registration is available till 11.40 p.m.).
• A World Olympiad cycle lasts for 1 month, and at the end of it the heroes of each class among all servers are defined (not separately on each server).
• You can participate in 25 battles per week in total.
  • The minimal amount of battles required to get the Hero/ Legend status is 25 for a cycle.

The process of World Olympiad

World Olympiad - scoring

• At the first day of each month a characters receives 1000 points. No additional points are awarded every 7 days.
• At the first day of a new month, once the previous cycle is over, the points count is reset to 0.
• The minimal amount of points to take part in the Olympiad is 1.

Terms of enrollment

Here's the list of requirements to enroll for World Olympiad:

• Main Class.
• Level 85 and higher.
• Complete Awakening or the 3rd Liberation (for Ertheia).
• The status of Noblesse or Exalted.

Registration

• You can enroll via NPC Olympiad Manager in any township from 8.00 p.m. till 11.40 p.m.
• Olympiad matches are 1 vs 1 battles.
• The battles are All-Class battles.

The course of World Olympiad

• In 2 minutes after enrollment the opponents are teleported to one of three possible stadiums (random).
• НР, МР and СР are fully restored for a character teleported to arena.
• Characters keep their summoned cubics and servitors when teleported to arena. However, all the buffs cast on servitors are cancelled. All the summoned pets are unsummoned.
• The chat is unavailable to the participants; they can't get private messages.

Warning! After registration you character won't be teleported to the Stadium and will get a penalty of 5% to their amount of points in the following cases: The character is in the second (dual) class state or switched to that class. The character has 20% or less free slots available or weight penalty is more than 80%. The character is being teleported. The character is fishing. The character is dead. The character initiated a log out or choosing a character screen. The character obtained a Cursed Weapon. After registration you character will be teleported from the Stadium and will get a penalty of 5% to their amount of points in the following cases: The character initiated a log out or choosing a character screen

World Olympiad: the battle

• A battle consists of 3 rounds of 100 seconds each.
  • A character stays on the Arena during the 3 rounds. As a new round begins, a character gets teleported to the waiting room to get prepared for the new round.
  • The winner is the character who’s been victorious twice in 3 rounds, if the character has 2 victories in a row, the third round is cancelled.
  • If a character logs out before the declaration of results, the battle is declared lost.
• Duration of a battle/preparation:
• Upon teleportation to an Arena, a character has 60 seconds to prepare for battle.
  • The pause between rounds 1 and 2 is 15 seconds.
• The following rules are applied after each round:
  • it’s impossible to attack the opponent;
  • the buffs active by the end of the previous round are restored;
  • the debuffs active by the end of the previous round are removed;
  • the participants are teleported to the waiting room;
• The following rules are applied after the first round:
  • for the loser: 70% of HP/MP/CP are restored;
  • for the winner: The amount of HP/MP/CP the winner had by the end of the round is restored;
• The following rules are applied after the second round:
  • for both participants: 100% of HP/MP/CP are restored, the cooldown is reset for the skills with basic cooldown 15 minutes and below;
• Upon the end of each round the participants get Marks of Battle:
  • Marks of Battle are sent to the inventory once a character returns to own local server, but only if the battle has ended properly. If the battle hasn’t ended properly: In case of client critical error lost connection with the server or if a player logged out, Marks of Battle are no awarded.

• The characters get the following amount of Mark of Battle if the battle has ended properly:

Reward for winning World Olympiad

• For the victory at the World Olympiad there are two statuses available: Heroes (35 heroes within own class on all servers) and Legend (just 1 character on all servers).
  • Special weapon, skills and bonuses are available to Heroes and Legends.
• The reward is also given to those who ranked 1 and 2 in Olympiad Manager’s rating within a class on each server.
• All the characters from the server where Legend was born, get a bonus.

How Heroes and Legends are defined

• To get the Hero/Legend status you need to take part in at least 25 battles during one cycle.
• The character who’s gained max. amount of points within own class among all servers is declared a Hero. The character who’s gained max. amount of points in the total Olympiad rating among all classes and servers is declared a Legend.
  • If several characters with the same amount of points are ranked 1 in Olympiad Manager’s rating, the Hero/Legend status is given to the character with max. amount of victories.
  • If there are several characters with the same amount of points and victories, the status of Hero/Legend is given to the character with max. amount of XP.

Hero rewards

• A character eligible for the Hero status can get it at the Monument of Heroes.
• A Hero can get unique weapon: Hero Weapon, which bestows a powerful passive effect upon the owner.
  • Hero Weapon automatically disappears if the Hero status is lost at the end of the cycle.
• Heroes get special skills: Heroic Berserker, Heroic Valor, Heroic Grandeur, Heroic Dread.

Legend rewards

• A character eligible for the Legend status can get it at the Monument of Heroes.
• A Legend can get unique weapon: Legend Weapon, which bestows a powerful passive effect upon the owner.
  • Legend Weapon automatically disappears if the Hero status is lost at the end of the cycle.
• Legends get special skills: Heroic Berserker, Heroic Valor, Heroic Grandeur, Heroic Dread.
• The clan where the Legend was born gets 100 000 CRP - at the same time when the Legend status is obtained.
• All the characters on the server where the Legend was born, once per day can get Rune of New Legend from Olympiad Manager:
  • Heroes/ Legend can also get Rune of New Legend.
  • The rune is active for 2 hours from the moment of obtaining it (it’s given unpacked).

Rune of New Legend 2-hour	A reward for all characters of the server where a new Legend - a winner of the World Olympiad - has been born. When in inventory, Vitality bonus +10%, P. Def. +567, M. Def. +328, Speed +1, Skill Power +1%. Cannot be used in the Olympiad.

Rewards for rank 1 and 2 in own class

• The characters ranking 1 and 2 in own class on each server, can get special runes:

Olympiad Class Runner-up's Rune	A reward for the mighty warrior who has taken the second place at the World Olympiad. When in inventory, Vitality bonus +20%, P. Def. +1428, M. Def. +821, Speed +3, Skill Power +3%. Will be deleted once the Olympiad cycle ends. Cannot be used in the Olympiad.

Olympiad points

• Having achieved a certain rank, characters get Olympiad points.
• Upon the end of an Olympic cycle (from 00:00 of the last dau of the month and later) bonus points can be converted to Marks of Battle via Olympiad Manager; the amount of Marks of Battle to beobtained depends on the place in the total ranking.

World Olympiad interface

• When the battles of World Olympiad begin, there’s a special icon in the notifications menu in the lower right corner of the screen. Click it to open the World Olympiad interface.
• You can only observe the ongoing battles via the interface. The enrollments for battles is only available via Olympiad Manager.
• You can also open the World Olympiad interface by using the /olympiadstat command.

World Olympiad ranking

• You can check the info regarding World Olympiad: Ranking among all servers, within a class, personal rank, the rankings of Heroes and Legends.
  • The info is available in the ranking menu on the "Olympiad” tab.
  • The info is available regarding the current and the previous cycles.
